About SCREAMER® & ScreamerGear, Inc.®

 Screamer, a wholesale distributor of seasonal hats and accessories, was established in 1993 by Jan and Steve Burkholder.  Their introduction to the market came when they showcased their unique homemade winter beanies on the slopes.  The positive response they received led them to consider selling hats as a full-time venture.  Taking a leap of faith, they dedicated the next 25 years to running Screamer.

In 2018, the Burkholders retired and passed on the ownership of the company to Robert and Julie Treves.  The Treves were familiar with Screamer through their family patriarch, Tom Treves, who had been a close friend of Jan and Steve Burkholder.  As a tradition, Tom would gift Screamer hats to his family on their annual Thanksgiving reunions.  This familiarity with the brand aligned perfectly with Robert and Julie's aspirations of owning a family business.

Currently, Screamer operates out of Bellevue, WA, with the day to day operations being carried out by a dedicated team based in Redmond, WA.  Additionally, an exceptional sales team is spread across the nation, ensuring the company's success.
